Carers Emergency Response Service (CERS)

From time to time, we encounter situations that we perhaps don’t expect.  If you are the main carer for someone, when such difficulties happen not only do you have to think about yourself, you also need to think about them.

The Carers Emergency Response Service (CERS) will provide you with the reassurance that should you experience a difficult time and cannot provide care yourself, your loved one will be well looked after in their own home environment.

You can be assured that Gemcare South West Limited team of helpful, friendly and experienced care workers will look after your loved one, helping with:

• Getting up in the morning and going to bed at night
• Washing and dressing
• Meal and drinks preparation
• Medication assistance
• Light cleaning and domestic tasks
• Shopping and pension collection
• Extended companionship visits
