A charity at the heart of our community, supporting and inspiring people to improve their physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Your experiences as a
carer – good and bad – are hugely important.
Your views are extremely
valuable to help make changes for the better for all carers, both in Plymouth
and nationally.
Remember - if you are struggling you are not alone. There is
no shame in asking for help. Everyone needs a little bit of extra support at
some point in their lives.

Consultations
There are often
consultations taking place in Plymouth – with Plymouth City Council, the NHS
and other charities and groups setting up opportunities to hear about your
experiences and get your views on services, including potential developments.
Sometimes these are held in partnership with us, Caring for Carers.
Opportunities range from
being part of focus groups, to one-off sessions, and questionnaire-style
feedback. There are usually many ways to give your views.
There are no
consultation events open at present, but please look here on a
regular basis as they will be posted when available.
Campaigns
Caring for Carers is
often involved with, or actively supporting, campaigns that will benefit carers.
These can be Plymouth
based, working jointly with other charities and organisations in Devon or
national, joining campaigns led by Carers UK or Carers Trust.
