Veterans Carers Support Group 1st Thursday of every month @ 1:30pm - 3:30pm at Ernest English House
Caring can be very isolating and our carers drop-in/ support groups are intended to be a venue in which carers can meet with other carers, gain support, gather information and seek advice as well as having time away from their caring role(s).
There is a member of the team present at every meeting as there may be times when you want to talk to someone who understands the pressures of being a carer or you may want practical advice or support to help you cope.
Tea, coffee, biscuits and a friendly face will always be available for anyone who needs information, emotional or practical support, or simply feels the need to have a chat.
We are looking for individuals who are currently serving, a veteran or a family member to support the development of our new and exciting service within the city which supports veterans and their familes. Whether you have a couple hours or a couple of days spare we would love to hear from you. Please email or call Ann-Marie Woollacott, our Veterans Project Manager to discuss how you can contribute.
Opening TimesDrop In: Monday to Wednesday 10:00 - 14:00
Telephone: Monday to Friday 10:00 - 16:00
