Active for All is a service which supports and promotes physical activity for adults (18+) with disabilities and long-term health conditions. The main service user groups we work with are adults with mental health support needs and/ or learning disabilities.
The aim of Active for All is to improve health and well-being by helping people find something active they can do regularly and enjoy.
We offer a number of services, including:
Regular activities delivered in the local community, which include Boccia, Football and Walking
Courses of taster sessions to encourage people to try different activities and find something they enjoy (please contact us for information regarding current taster sessions).
A buddying service which provides support for the first few weeks at a new activity or sports club.
If you are interested in our activities, please call Active for All on 01752 201891. Please note that due to Covid-19 we have reduced the capacity of our activities and places are limited. Once your place is booked, if you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Please do not turn up for an activity without booking, as we will have to turn you away.
Due to COVID-19 still being prevalent in the community, everyone needs to take steps to stay safe. Please follow all safety advice given by the session leader and keep your distance from anyone outside your household or social bubble.
