Active for All Volunteer Activity Leader

Task Summary:

Active for All run weekly activities across Plymouth including football, boccia & walking groups for adults with disabilities and long-term health conditions. As an Active for All volunteer, you will help other Active for All staff and volunteers to deliver sessions and support our service users to join in, whilst getting the opportunity to join in yourself! Your role may also include collecting money from players, writing out receipts and taking a register. Our community activities run on the same day/ time every week for approx. 1.5 hours per session.

Tasks will include:

1. Delivering activity sessions alongside Active for All staff, volunteers and coaches.
2. Support Active for All clients to take part in the activity.
3. Support Active for All staff with the general running of the session e.g., completing attendance registers

Skills required for this role:

• Must be confident to lead sessions.
• Must be reliable, enthusiastic and able to motivate others.
• Must be willing to undertake mandatory training and attend quarterly team meetings.
