The Department for Health and Social Care have released advice specifically for those looking after a family member of friend through the Coronavirus crisis. If you are concerned about what Coronavirus might mean for you, or someone you care for, we recommend you visit the Carers UK website. Carers UK have put together really useful information on Coronavirus that is relevant for carers and the people they care for. The information is being updated on a regular basis.
We are working closely with Plymouth City Council and our Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team to manage the risks to the smooth running of the services and activities we deliver related to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We understand this is a worrying time for everyone and we would like to reassure you that we are continuing to support carers. However, some of our services may look a little different over the next few weeks as our staff will be working remotely.
We continue to be available on the telephone during the usual hours of
9am - 5pm Monday-Friday and team members will be on hand to talk to you during these hours.

Following advice from the Government, we have taken the decision to suspend all support groups until further notice.

We are continuing to offer assessments and reviews. These will be undertaken over the telephone and not be face to face until further notice.
