Better Futures was founded over 30 years ago and has supported many adults with learning disabilities to develop skills and be more independent.
Better Futures offers individuals the opportunity to meet others and develop friendships, get help and advice and improve their independent living skills.
Unlike a day centre, members are encouraged to be flexible with their attendance, feeling free to attend on different days to suit them and making their own choices over how they spend their time with us.
Safe Places is a scheme that helps people with learning disabilities if they feel anxious or they are faced with verbal abuse, bullying, or harassment when out in the community.
Third party reporting centre for Devon and Cornwall police. Over twenty organisations have partnered with Devon & Cornwall Police to support the 'third party reporting' scheme whereby anyone being subjected to hate crime can make anonymous reports without going directly to the police.
