Basketball

We support the delivery of a weekly basketball session in partnership with Plymouth Life Centre. The sessions are run by a qualified coach and run every Thursday from 1pm - 2pm (please contact us for the current cost) All abilities welcome. No experience needed, just enthusiasm! Booking essential!

Boccia

Boccia is a boules-type game which is designed for people of all physical abilities to be able to participate in.  The aim is to get your balls as close to the white 'jack' ball as you can.  The balls can be released in a variety of ways depending on the person’s ability; balls can be thrown, kicked, pushed off the lap or even released with assistance from a ramp.

Boccia sessions run every Monday, 11.00am - 12.00pm and Wednesday, 10.30am – 11.30am at the Life Centre. The cost is £3 per session and is open for people who want to play Boccia just for fun or brush up on your skills. Booking essential!


Football

Each week we deliver an inclusive football session in partnership with Plymouth Argyle Community Trust.  The cost is £3.50 per session and is run by a qualified football coach. All abilities are welcome to come along and learn new skills whilst having fun in a friendly environment.

Gardening

Each Monday we work with The Friends of Devonport Park at Devonport Park carrying out a variety of gardening tasks. The session starts at 11:00am and continues for approximately 1 hour and is free to attend.  Please remember to wear old clothes, sturdy footwear and bring waterproofs if necessary. Booking essential!

Walking

We deliver 3 walks a week around The Hoe and The Barbican. Walks take place on a Monday and a Friday.  The Monday 'walk and talk' session is a brisk one hour walk meeting at the Mayflower Steps on the Barbican at 12.50pm for an 1pm start.

On Fridays we deliver 2 walks during the day - one brisk walk and one gentle walk. Our Friday walks are delivered in partnership with the National Marine Aquarium and are free to attend. Both walks start and finish at outside the National Marine Aquarium. The morning walk is an hour-long brisk walk with some inclines and the afternoon walks is a 30 minute gentle walk on a flat(ish!) route which is suitable for wheelchairs. Walkers are asked to meet the walk leaders at the Aquarium at 11.15am for the morning walk and 1.15pm for the afternoon walk. Please remember to wear sensible footwear, bring waterproofs if necessary and bring a drink to take along the walk with you.
