Mannamead Wellbeing Hub


We are part of a network of neighbourhood hubs, connecting the local community to information and activities that support their wellbeing. We also work in partnership with a range of organisations in the city who can provide additional health and wellbeing support.

Wellbeing Hubs Aims

  • To improve the health and wellbeing outcomes for local people
  • To reduce inequalities in health and wellbeing
  • To improve people’s experience of care 
  • To improve the sustainability of the health and wellbeing system

Understanding the Mannamead Wellbeing Hub

At Mannamead we already provide specific support for people with disabilities, long term health conditions and their carers. Using IT and a network of local organisations, the Hub will provide information advice and support for local residents in Mannamead, Higher Compton, Hartley, Peverell, Mutley and Eggbuckland (south of the parkway). 

Community Advisor

Our Community Advisory is based at our Mannamead Wellbing Hub and provides advice and support to local residents in Mannamead, Higher Compton, Hartley, Peverell, Mutley and Eggbuckland (south of the parkway) to help them engage in the community and to improve their wellbeing. Support can be provided in the following way;

  • One to one advice sessions
  • Identifying and achieving wellbeing goals
  • Connecting to activities and services in the community

Hub Network

The Mannamead Wellbing Hub network is made up of people, organisations and businesses who provide a service within the following areas; Mannamead, Higher Compton, Hartley, Peverell, Mutley and Eggbuckland (south of the parkway). We provide training, share best practice, cross refer and share information relevant to our neighbourhoods.
