Mannamead Wellbeing Hub

Improving Lives Plymouth is part of the Plymouth Wellbeing Hub Network which is an initiative designed to focus on prevention and make services easier to access in neighbourhoods.

Wellbeing Hubs Aims

  • To improve the health and wellbeing outcomes for local people
  • To reduce inequalities in health and wellbeing
  • To improve people’s experience of care 
  • To improve the sustainability of the health and wellbeing system

Understanding the Mannamead Wellbeing Hub

     At Mannamead we already provides specific support for people with disabilities, long term health conditions and their carers. Using IT and a network of local organisations The hub will provide information advice and support for local residents in Mannamead, Higher Compton, Hartley, Peverell, Mutley and Eggbuckland (south of the parkway) 

    Hub Development 

    • The Mannemad Hub Launched in November 2018 and reached out to ovr 50 families from the local community
    • Development of the Mannamead Hub Network which includes GP’s, representatives of local schools, community groups, members of local churches, sports development and Plymouth City Council
