A charity at the heart of our community, supporting and inspiring people to improve their physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Empowering people living with any long-term physical or low level mental health condition to better manage their condition and to achieve a better quality of life.
We run a self-management programme for anyone aged 18 or over who has any long term physical or low-level mental health condition(s), and would like to find new ways to manage them to lead to an improved quality of life. It is self-referral and free to you as it is funded by the NHS.
We have 12 years experience of running self management courses for people living with a long-term health condition(s), We help people take more control over their health by understanding and managing their symptoms effectively, leading to an improved quality of life. Coming on our courses has empowered many participants to become more confident and less anxious, visit their GP's less, take less time off work, have less pain and need to take fewer medicines.
In addition to the course activities, participants benefit from meeting other people experiencing similar problems, sharing ideas and information, and also building strong support networks which often last beyond the four week course.

We are closed on all Bank Holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year.
